Katrina is a licensed professional counselor in training practicing in Rock County, WI. She graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a bachelor's in psychology in 2016 and spent the next 4 years working as a professional agency nanny and childcare consultant for dozens of WI families in varying capacities. She then attended a CACREP-accredited graduate program at St. Bonaventure University and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling while operating a childcare business centered on social-emotional learning and co-regulation. Her passion for relational theory and family dynamics began early in life; she gravitated towards coursework and careers that involved the application of attachment principles and immersed herself in evaluating factors that led to family resilience and harmony.

Katrina enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She appreciates the challenges, rewards, and chance to use creativity to promote healing, emotional intelligence, boundary development, and authentic identity expression as powerful wellness modalities. She believes in her clients’ inherent strengths and strives to understand her clients’ emotional realities as a conduit for change. Outside of the counseling setting, Katrina serves her community as a fitness professional with an emphasis on healing, joyful exercise, and mindful movement.

Currently Katrina is working on training a therapy dog to join her in sessions at client request.
