My passion is for people to know their value and worth as a person. I believe every individual is unique and has various strengths. Life can be hard; it is complex and messy at times. My approach is to create a trusting safe space for clients to feel they are being heard and understood. My desire is to provide an empathetic caring environment working together with clients to understand themselves better. Together we can process past and current difficulties, improve relationships, build coping skills, and be empowered to pursue a more purposeful life.

My many life experiences including over a decade of working in lay ministry with women and other individuals going through difficult times is what led me to pursue this profession. I have experience in outpatient counseling as well as working in residential treatment facilities as a therapist and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills group leader. I offer Christian Counseling if requested.
